The Mo-Dad™ 2 Wastewater Treatment System is designed to provide excellent treatment for household wastewater using a unique three-chamber system. It’s a great choice for homeowners who want an advanced system that’s still easy to manage. This system has passed strict testing and meets NSF/ANSI Standard 40 requirements nationwide.
System Design:
• Aerated Pre-Treatment Chamber

• Clarifier Chamber (Quiet Zone)
How It Works:
The process begins in the aerated pre-treatment chamber, where air is added to help start breaking down waste and separate heavier materials that could clog the system later on. This helps protect the rest of the treatment process.
From there, wastewater flows into the aeration chamber through a four-inch opening. In this chamber, air is pumped through diffusers, creating bubbles that keep the water mixed and supply oxygen. This environment helps aerobic bacteria grow and break down the organic waste into cleaner, safer substances.
The water then moves into the clarifier chamber, or quiet zone, where the flow slows down and solids settle to the bottom. A slope at the bottom of the clarifier chamber helps guide the settled solids back into the aeration chamber for more treatment. The treated water flows out through the double tee, making sure only cleaned water leaves the system.
